It’s a lazy Sunday morning. You wake up without an alarm whenever you darn well feel like it. Delaying the inevitable of actually getting out of bed, you wrap all the blankets around you tighter and cozy in for a long winter’s nap…until one thought jumps in your head. Food. Mmmm, breakfast.
Being the genius that you are, you planned for such a dilemma. Sitting in the fridge is a make-ahead breakfast, prepared a day or two in advance to save you the overexertion that would be caused by assembling a meal at this early of an hour. You throw it in the oven or microwave, make a coffee and relax while your breakfast makes itself. Genius, pure genius.
There are many options out there for make-ahead breakfast recipes, ranging from healthy to down right gluttonous. Try a few of these out and just try to tell me that your morning isn’t just a little bit happier.
